NZ(S) Center Driving Thickener
Product Features
The NZ(S)-type (also referred to as TNZ-type) thickener is a central-drive thickener designed for continuous thickening and clarification processes. It is mainly used for dewatering of concentrates and tailings slurry in wet mineral processing operations. It can also be applied in coal, chemical, building materials, water supply, and wastewater treatment industries for thickening and purification of any slurry containing solids.
For tanks with a diameter of 12 m (inclusive) or smaller, the rake lifting is operated manually, while for those larger than 12 m, the rake lifting is generally electric. Large thickeners typically use concrete tanks and are equipped with overload indicators or alarm devices. The machine has a simple structure, low wear, and easy maintenance.
Selection Guidelines
-For corrosive slurries, anti-corrosion type thickeners are available and must be specially ordered.
