Introduction
The Gold Carbon-in-Leach (CIL) process is a mature, full-flow system integrating crushing, grinding, leaching, and gold recovery. It adds activated carbon to adsorb gold while pulp is being leached, shortening the process flow. Featuring high recovery rate, low reagent consumption, and environmental compliance, it suits industrial production needs of gold mines of all scales.
Application
🟡Oxidized gold ore: Ore where gold exists in free form and is easily leachable by cyanide.
🟡Fine-grained disseminated gold ore: Primary gold ore with fine gold particle dissemination (0.01-0.1mm) requiring fine grinding for liberation.
🟡Low-grade gold ore: Gold resources with low grade (≥1g/t) that need efficient enrichment and recovery..
🟡Refractory gold ore with impurities (As, S, etc.): Ore that can achieve stable high recovery after pretreatment.
Process Flow

Crushing & Classification: Raw ore is fed via a pendulum feeder to a primary jaw crusher, then further crushed by a secondary crusher and cone crusher. A vibrating screen classifies the ore, with oversized material recycled for re-crushing.

Grinding & Classification: Crushed ore is transferred to a fine ore bin via belt conveyor, then fed to first-stage and second-stage ball mills for grinding. A spiral classifier and hydrocyclone separate the pulp into coarse and fine fractions.

Pulp Conditioning: Ground pulp is thickened in a thickener and sent to a buffer agitation tank. Lime slurry is added to adjust pH, and leaching reagents are added via a reagent agitation tank.

Leaching & Adsorption: Conditioned pulp enters leaching tanks, where activated carbon is added for countercurrent adsorption, transferring gold from pulp to the carbon surface.

Gold Recovery & Purification: Loaded carbon is separated via a linear screen, then sent to an elution-electrolysis system to desorb gold. Gold ingots are finally produced via gold refining equipment; tailings are discharged via a tailings pump.

Leaching and adsorption proceed simultaneously, with gold recovery rate stably above 93%, shortening the process by 15%-20% compared to CIP.
Leaching reagents are recycled, reducing consumption by 10%-15% compared to traditional processes and lowering operational costs.
After treatment, tailings water recycling rate exceeds 80%, reducing wastewater discharge and meeting environmental standards.
